Daddy's Girl by Judy Freespirit

Daddy's Girl: An Incest Survivor's Story by Judy Freespirit is a brave retelling of her relationship with her father. It wasn't until Judy Freespirit was 15 years old that she learned that she was not the only victim of incest in the world, so she courageously shares her own story in order to give hope to other victims of incest. In her chapbook, Judy Freespirit is honest when she documents the mixed feelings of shame, arousal, confusion, and empathy that she still experiences as a result of her upbringing. Unfortunately, Judy Freespirit's is no longer with us, so if you can, please honor her legacy of outspoken bravery by reading her work and continuing her mission to help survivors of sexual assault around the world.
