Sinister Wisdom is primarily a journal, putting lesbian art and expression onto print. But creativity is ever-evolving, and lesbian experiences spans the limitations of words on paper. Spoken Violets is Sinister Wisdom's podcast, expanding on the journal's already diverse, multi-class and genre-bending lesbian space. On the podcast, episodes will range from readings by contributors to themed issues, interviews with past and present editors, and some episodes will even dive into special topics involving lesbian art, news and culture. The podcast will act as complementary content for the journal, creating a new dimension of virtual lesbian space.
While we have lots of interesting ideas for the podcast, we welcome any suggestions for future episodes that you have! Want to share your thoughts, revelation, or comments on the work we're doing? Please let us know! We love hearing from Sinister Wisdom's supporters. Listen to our first episodes below!
Spoken Violets is now available on SoundCloud, Spotify and iTunes.
